The Abundant Table staff and farm interns recently found themselves pouring over seed catalogs on a frosty February morning. According to Farm Educator Erynn Smith, they gazed with “eyes huge and stomachs growling at the images of juicy heirloom tomatoes, vibrant plump eggplants, bursting tomatillos, bell peppers, fragrant basil, and MELONS!”  They know the excitement of spring planting for summer harvests!

In the seed is the promise of an abundant harvest. Planting and harvest depend on the land, water, and favorable weather, willing hands and a supportive community. As we roll into spring, and at each change of season, the Abundant Table appeals to you to pray for our many harvests, contribute financially, and invite others to Join the Farm! (our CSA).

With the growth of the farm, the continuing work of our wonderful interns, our transformational farm education programs and renewing ministries…like the land, the Abundant Table also holds the promise of an abundant harvest…one that is truly community supported.
